One user managing multiple email accounts - can I forward from all of them?
  • jguibordjguibord December 2011
I manage three email accounts as part of my role in our studio. I have made a batchbook account for myself and can forward emails from the address that I used to set up the account, but I can't send/forward emails from either of the other accounts I manage. Is there a way to do this or do I have to create accounts for each address?

Hi J - you would need to set up each e-mail address as a separate user in Batchbook.  For example if you have e-mail addresses for yourname@company.com, admin@company.com and support@company.com, you would need to have 3 users in the Batchbook account, one for each address.  Each would be assigned a separate Batchbox e-mail address (something like batchbox+7777777@company.batchbook.com) for forwarding e-mail messages into Batchbook. For security purposes, that special e-mail address only works if the message is coming from the e-mail account assigned to it - thus you need an account for each e-mail address.

You can edit the e-mail address assigned to your user account, so if there is an e-mail address you use more frequently make sure that is the one associated with your Batchbook account.  Also, you can use Gmail to manage multiple e-mail accounts, and it will let you edit the "sent from" address on the fly.

    Hope this helps.
