Can I organize a list chronologically (or anything other than alphabetically by last name)?
-
Hi Guys,I`ve created a super tag called ``Last Contacted`` which contains a ``Date`` field. After emailing or phoning a contact, I enter the date of our correspondence in the date field of the super tag.If I build a list of contacts based on this super tag, is there a way for me to order the list based on the date field? For example, my most recently contacted contact would be at the top of the list.As it stands now, the list orders itself alphabetically based on last name. Thanks,Jason

I have a similar question. To expand a bit on this, it seems like the "Last Contacted" filed is already built in. On each contact page, there are a few dates. For example:Record Created: Feb 29, 2012Last Updated: Mar 05, 2012Total Comms: 0Last Comm: NeverHow can I access those fields via a list view? My goal is to look at contacts and sort them by Last Updated or Last Comm. I can't access these fields via List Data.

Jason - if you are viewing the list in Batchbook you can click on the column header of your SuperTag date, and it will sort them by the date. You can also export the file to excel and use their sorting tools for further sorting functionality to help you go through the list.LawByLegrand - The Record Created date is actually a searchable field in Batchbook, you can find it under the "Deals Information" in the List Data. Even though it's under the Deals, it will still display the record created date if you have a list of say contacts or communications. You can also search for last updated fields, but you can't pull that date into a report currently. That is something we'll be changing in a future release of Batchbook, but it's unfortunately not possible at the present time.
