SuperTag custom fields import into MailChimp list?
  • stanathenkaastanathenkaa February 14
Hi - I've created a list based on some custom field values (SuperTag) and I'd like to export this list - including some of the values in the custom fields - to my MailChimp list. Problem is, I can't get it to work nor do I see any "mapping" setup options in either Batchbook or MailChimp.

Anyone know if this functionality is possible?  The custom field I want to migrate is a date field which I will use to trigger an autoresponder in MailChimp.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Same here. I've been thinking what to do about it as well so we can segment the list after.  I read that it's possible in ActiveCampaign to import fields based on tags (
http://blog.batchblue.com/batchmaker-updates-new-integrations/). Can we do the same in Mailchimp?

This may be off topic but is anyone familiar with ActiveCampaign? How is it?

I haven't played with any of the templates really in ActiveCampaign, but I did help with the testing when they were developing the integration to pull contacts in from Batchbook.  The way they do that is really awesome - you can pull in pretty much any field that you have access to in Batchbook into ActiveCampaign and then use those fields to do your sorting for emails.

You can get the same results with MailChimp, but there isn't a way to get the data to MailChimp.  You would have to search through the contacts first in Batchbook and then send that sorted list to MailChimp.

There is a way to import data into your Merge Tags in MailChimp though, so if you export the SuperTag data from Batchbook you should be able to import that information into MailChimp.
