Google synch for companies

Hy team,I have a question about synching my contacts with google. When I synch a company the name gets into the first- and last-name fields of the contacts in google. From there I copy it into the company field because it looks strange in my adress book when the company name gets broken into first an last name. The problem starts when I update a company record in batchbook because then it puts the company name back into the first and last name fields. Is there a way to tell batchbook to synch a company name into the google company field of the adress book?Best regards,Sven

Hi svenbrencher,Unfortunately, this is how the sync was designed. In Google, there is only one contact record type while in Batchbook there are the two. Since their contacts are only formatted for individuals, and it's not possible to create just a "company" record in Google, the company name (if you sync a company) will be put in the name field.Bill PasnauCustomer Experience Team

is there something wrong with google contact sync today?originally had sync setup at initial signup, but the whole thing was a big mess. so went in and deleted the batchbook sync group in google contacts and deleted all batchbook contacts in the system. a couple days have gone by, cleaned up my batchbook contacts and am importing via csv little by little (don't want another big mess, easier to deal with smaller messes).then set the google sync tag to be called "gcontact" and set it only to individuals (that way I don't have triplicates of companies again). so I setup the google sync process again with the cleaner sync. the batchbook sync group is created in google contacts, but there are no contacts in the batchbook sync group. been almost an hour since i contacted support (no answer) and want to know what is the deal. why didn't batchbook send my "gcontact" tagged individual contacts over to google?
